Not sure if this is Lethalman's problem or not, but since I use svk quite heavily instead of svn, I thought I'd mention this anyway that svk does not have support for svn:external properties. Now this is something I am fully aware of and compensate for when necessary since I've been using svk for a long time, but it might be worth briefly mentioning the use/side-effects of svn:externals in any documentation that mentions the TurboGears svn repostory.
