It's been way too long since I booted from my 10.3 hard drive. As long as you include the -f parameter for easy_install, it *should* work. I should put something in the instructions mentioning that you need Xcode installed if the binaries aren't available. (I'm only building the binaries under 10.4 at the moment... I will likely produce 10.3 binaries sometime soon as well...)
