Well, I departed from there in fact, but, I'm sorry to say, Bob's approach isn't the best one. What he did works in some cases, but in a more general way it's not exactly what we need. What I'm trying to do is what Mozilla/Netscape and a (I suppose) others browser based in expat do: preload the DTD somewhere, then pass it to the parser when it requests it, and let the parser do the rest.
