Hi Jorge, It looks like you did a root install of easy_setup 0.6a5 manualy (without portage) so its conflicting.
I don't think easy_setup has an uninstall method yet so you'll probably have to do: rm -rf /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/setuptools-0.6a5-py2.4.egg And then try emerging again. Thanks for your help
