Phillip, Putting the PKG-INFO file in the :
D:\svn\TurboGears\trunk\turbogears\quickstart\+project+.egg-info directory and re-running tg-admin quickstart (after deleting the old test directory) worked. Hopefully this is what you intended. Putting it in the test.egg-info directory did not work, as this was a "failed" quickstart install directory. Thanks again for your help. Sam
