Congratulations, and thanks for both.
The book will make it much easier to deploy TurboGears in Corperate
America. There a many frameworks that are flashes in a pan. A book is
indicator of the support of the community (especially the author :-).
I am using the Ruby on Rails book to sell Turbogears today.
1) show the value of dynamic languages to rapidly deliver value
2) show the ruby on rails book
3) present the material from the book
4) talk about ruby and python
- illustrate how they are close to the same language
- maturity of python
- training material available on python (stack of python books)
- maturity of libraries
5) show turbogears movie
6) create app live
7) prototype project with turbogears
8) determine if turbogears is the best fit for the project
I will be great to add a turbo gears book to the presentation, and to
use the book to lower startup costs for a project.
