Joost, Thanks for the explination. I Ripped my code out of turbogears, created a simplified,standalone app.
I still got the same problem. Since the code is different, I created a new thread http://groups.google.com/group/turbogears/browse_frm/thread/e7c2b7d875fa5338/617a1e921b2f8446#617a1e921b2f8446 would it be possible for you to take a minute or two and see where I screwed up, or if there is a machine/db problem. The code is standalone, and uses a memory-based db, so there is no impact on your machine. Would you mind dropping this file on your machine and see if it runs on your machine? Thanks to your help, I understand how MultipleJoin works. Now I just have to get rid of a stupid error in my code. Mike Thanks Mike
