The easiest way to get going from svn is to install the current stable release first, and then do the upgrade to svn. (This is what it says on the contributing page on the site.) easy_install -f http://www.turbogears.org/download/index.html json-py The json-py package isn't in the Cheeseshop... I packaged it myself.
