[TurboGears] What do the 'path' & 'version' attributes do in a cookie?

In this fragment:def setUserName(self):      cherrypy.response.simpleCookie['userName'] = 'TurboGears User'      cherrypy.response.simpleCookie['userName']['path'] = '/'      cherrypy.response.simpleCookie
['userName']['max-age'] = 3600      cherrypy.response.simpleCookie['userName']['version'] = 1The use of 'path' and 'version' do not seem to have been demonstrated. Anyone gives me some explanations on that? Thanks.
