Mind you, in this instance I was just holding up Rails' site as an
example of something that has been effective without much in the way
of dynamic features.

I've never attempted to make TurboGears into Rails. The development
model (separate projects joined together) is different. The way you do
things is different. And, we're coming up with our own cool features
like the Toolbox.

No one ever became number 1 by merely copying number 1. There's always
got to be unique differentiators, and I don't think a dynamic website
is going to be the main differentiator.
