Right, the rpm update of Pyrex solved the install problem with cElementTree. Initially searched the mail archives on the error message and didnt find anything directly related to my install problem on fc4. I also tried easy_install with no more progress. Since I started trying to install turbogears without knowing anything about the modules being used; the error message wasnt much help to me. It was some emails from windows users that gave a clue that Pyrex might be involved. The updated Pyrex rpm is dated sept05 so I thought it was worth mentioning in the list in case other fedora users are having similar problems.
Now onto the tutorial and a refresher with postgres.
