tg-admin has probably been put in two different places when they've been installed.
if you have it, make sure your locate db is updated (sudo updatedb) then do locate tg-admin. You'll most likely come up with two executables called tg-admin. Start each one with the full path (.e.g /usr/bin/tg-admin) to see what version it is. when you find the older version, rename it tg-admin-old and you should get the latest version when you next run tg-admin.
