Hi,

I would just like to point out that it isn't so simple:

- you would type 122505
- french people would type 251205
- japanese people would type 051225 or even 171225 (where 17 is the
year 17 of the current era, i.e. 2005)
- the 'ISO' way of writing things is 2005-12-25
...

And everyone would think that his way is the "natural" way.

So IMHO we should not really impose a data format (except maybe the ISO one?)
