OK, so if there were to be a merge what would the benefits be for: 1) The TurboGears project? 2) The Subway project? 3) The python community? I think the answer to 3 is that there will be less framework chaos, and more developer cooperation. The answer to 1 might be more developers and therefore more features, and the answer to 2 might be getting more people to use their code. On the downside, it looks like the there will be some contention about controllers as classes and about the use of Kid as the template system. And this friction could easily slow down the whole TurboGears project. --Mark Ramm
