This is on the list of things I'd like the Identity framework to handle. But it hasn't been identified as a required feature for 1.0 of TurboGears. It wouldn't be incredibly hard to add to the existing IdentityFilter, but I just haven't the time to do it now. A patch would be graciously accepted...
