I'm going to guess that this is the Kid TemplatePath problem. We're
definitely hot on the trail of this: a patch has been suggested and
all. Once David Stanek is comfortable enough with the fix, it'll get
patched in Kid and one of us will send a note to the list to let
people know to upgrade. The svn external for Kid is currently set to
the Kid trunk in anticipation of this fix.
I have a couple of people on non-Linux platforms (most importantly Windows) looking at this now. I am not sure if it will fix the issue in Windows because I cannot test it myself, but I suspect it will. My main concern is that I didn't break anything and so far I have not had complaints.
If you are interested in getting a head start on the patch feel free to grab it from the lesscode trac[0]. If you do use it feel free to drop me a line and let me know how it went. I suspect I will be committing this sometime today.
