Cliff, This is a great step. Being able to mix templating languages on the same page can open many doors.
HTML fragment reuse is very powerful. To be able to do this with multiple Templating engines is a very good thing. My current holy grail would be that all TurboGear Widgets to be leveraged by different templating languages. I am working on getting a prototype of an app out over the next several weeks, so I have not had a chance to look at the TurboGears Templating PlugIn . Do you think that the engine should have a function "render_widget(....)" that woiuld handle rendering the widget? Just some very random thoughts until I get this prototype complete. I have to highly productive with TurboGears to get time to be able to contribute to TurboGears :-). Fortunately, this is easy to do. That box of unlimited time was was not under my Christmas Tree this year :-) Thanks again, Mike
