That's kind of what I was afraid of. TurboGears goes to some obvious
effort to re-use other projects in a rather seamless way, yet this
comment seems to indicate no effort will be spent by TG developers to
do the reverse... go to some effort to create re-usable parts rather
than building them into TG.
I think the primary focus is getting TurboGears ready for release. Once
that's accomplished, I'm certain some effort will be made to distil what
we've learned into packages that are more applicable to the general
Python community.
However, just because TG components aren't made available for Paste --
or any other framework -- doesn't mean there's no commitment to reuse by
other projects.
