this should be done in cherrypy, or even better, cherrypy should provide a hook, so that you can adapt the traceback to your needs:
I recently submitted a ticket for cherrypy, requesting such a hook : http://www.cherrypy.org/ticket/424 but this wouldn't solve the problem with kid's error reporting yet. ciao Martina
