I got home today, did another svn update, read these posts, and without making any changes to my project, it now works. My procedure is to wipe and recreate my database, then run 'tg-admin sql create' to make my tables. At this point, the identity and visit tables do not exist. I then run 'tg-admin toolbox' so that I can use CatWalk to add a user and group for the identity stuff. At this point, the identity tables do exist, so it looks like the recent changes to auto-create these table on the fly is working.
But I still don't have the URL for Jeff Watkins' blog.
