And patch for testing system :-) Currently noosetest, doesn't support doctest in *.txt or *.rst files. Writing/merge some test and documentation, is a great things for user, I used it a lot to understand how to use zope3. I thinks doctests is a great features.
<promotion> I use it for TurboHtmlPy doc and test. take a look at CheeseShop </promotion>So If you 're OK I could submit a basic patch to allow doctest in *.txt and *.rst of directory : simply add a test function that scan, read, execute thoses files.
I already sumit the idea to nose's developer, but he's creating a plugin/extension mecanisme where this feature could be placed.
