Cliff, that's it! I can't believe PostgreSQL is the cause of way too much trouble at turbogears. This is not the only thing that went wrong with it... why is that? I think postgresql is getting too little attention from TG developers because otherwise I personally find it quite a lot better than mysql for example...but let's hope this will change before some official releases :) Thank you very much, Matej
