I'm about to install the TG development version to build a demo with.
I have to use the nightly build eggs because my firewall has problems
with one of the Subversion dependencies. There's been a lot of
messages recently about bugs and upgrades in setuptools. Should I use
the development version of setuptools or is the stable version OK?

BTW, I got behind on my list mail around New Year's and still haven't
caught up; that's why I've been so silent.

Is there a reason the nightly build instructions aren't on the
contributing page? I always have to go through my old emails to find
the command
(
easy_install -f
http://www.opensource4you.com/nightly_tarballs.shtml TurboGears ).
