There was some talk about an tg-admin info command that could collect all that info plus configfiles etc, mainly for bugreports.
I dont know if anything ever happend to it though

Or something like http://mysite.com/version that would display known version data about each package. That would be super.
Of course, if individual packages are not using consistent versioning, that won't help a whole lot - but "most" is better than "none" I suppose.
