It bothers me also, especially because it has already bitten me. It is *very* unintuitive and leads to many surprises. Please, stop calling me twice unless I explicitly say so. Specifying tg_errors is not explicit way of stating, "call me again if exception is raised".
I am not attacking your work. I am not using any of those facilities so I cannot be the judge of it.
