It's very strange.  It has Guido's signature on it, but how is it
possible for him not to know of WSGI's existence or PEP 333?  WSGI and
TurboGears and the PyWebOff and and Paste and CherryPy and SQLObject
and framework convergence have been the most talked-about topics in
Python circles for the past year.   At least half my conversations
with others have been on these topics.  Yesterday I went to a local
Python meeting (SeaPIG) and everybody wanted to talk about SQLObject
and TurboGears; their projects were all database and/or web related. 
A couple of people talked about graphics for game programs, but that
was the only other topic.
