I don't have time to get into production work on it, but I can look it over for accessibility, usability, and standards-compliance, and help critique the design. I'd like to see the TG site set a good example on those fronts... perhaps providing some links to good info on those topics in the docs.
So far, for accessibility, each page needs a "skip navigation" link at the very top so screen reader users can jump right to the content. You can make that very tiny in the CSS, since only screen reader and ancient browser users will need it. (Or change the CSS so the content comes first in the page source.) It's a table-free layout (yay, we don't need to have *that* argument), and the general look that is developing is good. I like the "bigness" of it, although that enormous header might be annoying on the documentation pages (because it'll create extra scrolling for most users). I suggest a tighter (less tall, but consistent-looking) header for text-heavy pages (which may end up being all but the home page). Drop me a line when there is more to see... and I'll keep an eye on the list for announcements. --i --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
