Sean, Ok, so I tried to kill off all the FastCGI processes, as you advised. After a short while they started coming back and my app became alive. Nothing really changed. Let me summarize the symptoms that I am having now:
1. Some of the redirects don't work. The following flow fails: Click a button on the page Go to 'execute action' url ->Resolve the action as resolvedAction Go to resolvedAction url (redirect) ->Do the work Go back to the initial page (redirect) The last redirect doesn't happen. 2. Pages load slowly (~3 seconds). I am thinking that may be DreamHost, since the same load time seems to apply for static content. Even removing FastCGI configuration all together and letting Apache send over files shows the same results. I wonder how fast DreamHost will work with higher traffic web sites.
