There are two javascript shells that may be useful to you. One comes with Mochikit and is usable in all browsers. I don't use it, so I'm not exactly sure how to use it with TG. The other is Jesse Rudderman's javascript shell[1], which only works in firefox. You install it as a bookmark and click the bookmark to start the shell in the context of the current page.
