Yes, it's alpha, sorry, should have mentioned it. In terms of "formal" documentation 0.8.x has the edge, but on the other hand there are a number of 0.9.x-specific tutorials and how-tos in the wiki. Click around a bit and see with what *you* feel more comfortable (most people on this list will probably suggest the latest and greatest, but do keep in mind we are as based as it gets).
