Because everyone here is a developer, and even though "-devel" is standard I still see people posting to the wrong list. Kevin Horn is right that it'll be good to define what's in the "future". Maybe "-trunk" is a better way to go for that reason. That's pretty unambiguous. If you're talking about something that's only on the trunk, the discussion goes there.
