Well, I found out this morning that SELECTs were also busted when used with widgets.RemoteForm. I dug into it after I submitted a ticket (http://trac.turbogears.org/turbogears/ticket/671) and found the offending javascript. I submitted a patch to Trac under that ticket as well. Hopefully this will be useful to others.
