I'm not entirely sure why initools is failing. The usual problem is
that packages are on sourceforge and the mirror is bad. I recommend
downloading it by hand to your current directory and doing:
http://cheeseshop.python.org/packages/2.4/I/INITools/INITools-0.1-py2.4.egg
easy_install -f http://www.turbogears.org/preview/download/index.html -f .
--script-dir /usr/local/bin TurboGears
