I'm working on getting things closed out so that I can do a 0.9a2 release. In the process, I took at a look at ticket 565 regarding database pooling: http://trac.turbogears.org/turbogears/ticket/565
Frommy tests this morning, there is clearly a database pool in use. Additionally, I didn't see any particular evidence this morning of database access being blocked by the first thread that accesses the database. Both of those tickets were from jpaulofarias, but I wanted to put this out to the group as a whole to see if anyone else is having these problems.
