Well, as I previously posted on this thread, I've been developing primarily on
PC laptop with cygwin etc.

However at the weekend I splashed out on a MacBook Pro dual core Intel Mac
laptop.

I've never had a Mac before but I'm absolutely over the moon with it.

To complete my dev move to the Apple side I downloaded TextMate, tried it for
half an hour, and then bought that as well.

I managed to get TurboGears and Postgres installed and move all my project over
in about an evening.

The system has FreeBSD Unix at it's core so you get real Unix power with all
the really nice UI/Desktop stuff - it's a great combination. It's really fast
too.

The CLI (bash by default) is certainly better than cygwin although pretty much
the same as Linux.

Not sure about integrating with windows network, maybe samba would work?

So far I seem to be managing nicely without the right mouse button. On the
laptop ctrl+button does the same thing.

Something that did get me was getting used to a different keyboard layout but
I'm pretty much there with that.
