TurboGears should definitely be compatible with the Linux distro
packaging. As long as you get the right versions of things, you should
be fine.
actually there is no TG package for gentoo's system, actually there is a poor support for eggs in general, I'm trying to see the code that has been written and how It can be improve, maintain,etc.
My main problem right now is that gentoo demands 1 ebuild (read package) for each project store locally while setuptools looks then on the fly.
