Good idea.  I'd be willing to contribute to such a series of tutorials.

Once the more advanced features of TurboGears are more set in stone
(widgets, validation, identity, etc.) I plan to write the next part of
the to-do list tutorial to incorporate those.  After that I think all
that's left is to show how to deploy it anywhere and how to refactor
the existing code.

The tutorial was updated for 0.9a4, btw.  All it needed was a change in
the config filenames, which is good.  I just did a clean install on a
lab computer where I have a virtual-python setup, and ran through the
tutorial to make sure everything worked.  Took about 5 minutes (copying
and pasting like mad) and it still works.
