The fact is, unicode support is inconsistent between DB-API drivers
(e.g. psycopg 2 vs psycopg 1) and SQLObject doesn't shield you from
this.

So the only meaninful way right now is to always encode your
db/sqlobject queries (to utf8 or whatever you use).
