Hi people, I've decided to spare a couple of hours this evening to write a TG tutorial that actually works on .9 and uses it's new features (widgets, identity, error handling...).
I'm thinking of rewriting the famous 20 min tutorial with some a few changes to "show off" .9's features. My idea is to have a freshly quickstarted project at revision 1 of a svn repository and build on top of that, each revision a new iteration and explanation at the svn log. The idea is to easily follow it by incrementally updating your checkout to see the difference between each step. I suppose this opens the possibility of automatically turn it into a normal html tutorial by extracting the log messages and the diffs. Crazy idea? Anyone want to lend a hand? I'd appreciate some suggestions on which aspects you would like me to cover and some help clarifiying doubts I have on how to best implement parts I might not be too familiar with (if any ;) Alberto --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
