Twisted is much harder to learn than TG your and code won't be as simple as when using TG. Also some parts (especially Mantissa) severly lack documentation. Well, actually there is a lot more documentation for twisted than for TG, but it still feels like there is much less, due to the increased complexity.
But there is also a lot of good things about it: - It's more powerful than anything else I have seen (when you can figure out how to use it) - LivePage is great and relatively simple to use - No threads - Nice sqlite based database (called axiom) with real references and lists - Useable for a lot more than webapps - More mature than TG - Mantissa brings even more features (combining multiple apps, integrated user sign-up, standarized navigation between apps and a lot more) -- Karl --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TurboGears" group.
