I am signed up and approved as a mentor for SoC 2006. I am primarily
signed
up because I am interested in finding a student wanting to work on
SQLAlchemy
in TurboGears. Here are the things I would like to see:

   * A fully-polished ActiveMapper with a strong unit test suite,
based upon
     the latest and greatest SQLAlchemy (the 0.2 branch).;

   * Either an SQLObject compatibility layer, or some tool to help
people
     migrate to ActiveMapper.

   * Fully polished integration with TurboGears, including tg-admin
shell,
     quickstarted projects, connection management, etc.

If you are a student interested in working on this, please do contact
me!
