I actually haven't done it that way as yet. I have had positive feedback on the keyboard sound that appears in the video, and that would be a casualty of recording the audio afterwards. (Unless you save the audio track with the typing and record a separate track of audio for the narration... hmm...) The other thing that I was figuring would be a problem would be the pacing. I'm using Premiere Pro now, so it's possible that I might be able to use strategic pauses that I can stretch out in order to spend time talking about a topic. I will say this: doing 18 minutes of coding while talking without making too many mistakes is not easy. It may be a matter of getting more practiced in the technique. I'm tempted to try recording a narrative after the fact, though.
