Thanks Kevin. I don't recall specifics, but during the installation, I think I specified the path to Python2.4... and as a result, it turns out, these files actually got installed in /usr/loca/Python2.4/bin.
I did not notice any TG related files in /usr/loca/bin, and hence my question earlier.
