I think there definitely needs to be a repository for widgets and the
like, little bits of code that get lost on the mailing list otherwise.
 However I think in general, people willing to go as far as to have
svn, trac etc, will want their own setup and to be in control of it.

A place to put little useful widgets and scripts would be great though
(like a TG cookbook).  For example I wrote a little repeating form
widget with section headers, that could be of use to anyone else
trying to create the same effect, but it's too little for me to bother
doing much else except post it to the list so that it is out there in
the ether.
