I'm going to follow this trend and do a speed experiment does anyone have a benchmark already for sqlalchemy vs sqlobject vs a dbmodule. I know that mysqldb executemany is fast but regular sqlobject is kinda slow. It looks like sqlalchemy would be fast with flush and everything. I'd really use it if it could use berkley db or if it had a built in smokin db.
