Hello Kevin: Acturally this lib is a regular expression based validation, so its a good point to start for client/server validators.
The current owe is this validation require to import additional prototype/scriptaculous libs. Since mochikit has porting some prototype/scriptaculous feature, maybe we can expect future support for mochikit native client side validation, too.
