Thanks a lot for the excellant guidances. Beginning a beginner, I am not being to figure out how to install the patch (ticket #1041). Should I just copy and paste the code in respective .py files and it would work? Or I need to install the development version from svn? Or wait till an official version is released, and work with the workaround? Pardon me if I am asking an elementary question.
