As regards your suggestion, I'm in favour, on the grounds that generalising
any mechanism is almost always a "good thing", provided the added complexity
is not visible when using the simple case. (It would be a _really_ bad idea
to make the newbies' on-ramp even a tiny bit steeper!) In practice, not sure
how much it would be used -- for most people, projects are either one-offs,
or a copy of something very similar from their the past, so perhaps the main
use would be in generating a variety of official TG starting-points.

Maybe a utility to copy/rename an existing project would be more useful for
most people?

If you're visiting the quickstart stuff, there's another tiny aspect which I
think could do with a little attention...

Most config files for other apps have non-default options commented out, in
such a way that removing/re-inserting the comment character at the start of
the line is the only required change to switch settings (for Booleans, at
least). All tg files have a commented-out default setting. This feels like a
waste of keystrokes!
