Thank you for the suggestion, I guess that would work just fine. And I am glad to hear SO scales up well for larger projects too. However, more than this one port to TG, I am genuinely interested in fixing this known soClasses issue. I remember being really shocked that the simple turbotunes tutorial would not work, and it actually diverted me away from TG for quite a while. I don't think it is a good thing that potential new users be scared away like this. Anyway, I started diving into SQLObject code, and surprisingly, looks like it may be possible to fix the issue with minimum effort... That actually worries me a bit: if it was that easy to fix, I guess it would have already been fixed... so I may be totally out to lunch with my approach...
