Hi Kevin thanks for reply - both are using upto date dapper's - the glibc is I believe 2.3.6. I got this from doing ls -l /lib/libc.so.6 (which I understand is glibc?) and I get: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 13 2006-05-23 10:59 /lib/libc.so.6 -> libc-2.3.6.so on both machines.
